Lynette and Lefty (Lynette Wolfe and David Gardner) are a country swing style Duo from Austin Texas. The Duo write, sing and perform their own music. Along with some great old time songs and a one of a kind vaudeville style act, the Duo are completely entertaining and refreshing.

David “Lefty” Gardner has been playing guitar and writing music for over 30 years. After years of playing guitar David discovered (Gypsy) Jazz and was drawn in. Django Reinhardt is one of his main influences, as you can hear in his swingy sound. Being from East Texas David grew up on good old Country music and gravitates towards Texas Swing. Writing and performing is what he lives for. Some of his Country influences are Chet Atkins, Merle Travis and Hank Garland.

Lynette Wolfe started playing Upright Bass and Singing 5 years ago and writing a couple years ago. After moving to Austin Texas she could not deny her love for Country Music and whole heartily wanted to learn Upright. Once her children were grown Lynette decided to jump into music both feet first. With her one in a million squeaky voice, her style and strong bass playing she is a great performer. Lynette is influenced by Jean Sheppard, Kitty Wells, Mary Ford and June Carter, she loves the swing in country.
