Hollin McKay /hòll-en ma-kay/. Performing Songwriter hailing from Bandera Tx. Best described as Texas Roots Music, his clever storytelling offers a thoughtful insight into the human condition. Hollin was born in Lubbock and raised in the hills surrounding the Medina river. He uses these landscapes as a backdrop for many of his characters(most of them fictional). His songs go from people just passing through town to a wrongly accused parolee in Mississippi looking for a little justice. In addition to his solo material Hollin has written and played with his brother for many years Several of his songs from records they have released as the McKay Brothers can still be heard on radio stations across Texas. The stages he has called home include the likes of Gruene Hall, Luckenback and the Legendary Floores Country Store in Helotes, TX.
